"Shultz is another one of my purebred German Angora rabbits and is the man of the moment. He has wonderful lines, which includes a grandfather from Germany, Oliver. This handsome young man will give my line of rabbits just what I want: wonderful conformation and plenty of Angora fiber. I had to pick between him and his brother. So I asked a friend her opinion and Sheri, who happens to be a judge for IAGARB, agreed they were both wonderful rabbits. Keep an eye on Shultz’s litters to come as they should be impressive." -Betty
"Completely Angora" by Kilfoyle & Samson is a nice resource for any Angora rabbit breeder.

"Tasha is my German Angora Rabbit. April 8, 2011 she was registered with IAGARB (International Association of German Angora Rabbit Breeders). Rabbits and owners attend a shearing party 3 months before to certify that rabbits are clipped completely. Then 3 months later they are judged on weight, body type, wool density, evenness of wool, wool texture, furnishings, condition and then “wool weight”. My Tasha came in 1st and I was presented with this beautiful lead crystal vase. Of course I filled it with Angora to show it off and my Rosie posed to make the picture complete!" -Betty
German Angoras are wonderful fiber producers and very gentle. My Germans produce from 8 to 15 oz of fiber every 3 months. I've been introducing new rabbits from Germany into my line (thank you Lesley). I've heard Angora fiber is at least 6 times warmer than wool and in Germany Doctors write prescriptions for Angora fiber garments for their patients!
Does anyone know if there are any statistics that prove Angora is 6 - 8 times warmer than wool?
